Founded in 1912, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) is one of the most respected, established national accreditors of academic institutions in the United States. It is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). On December 12, 2016, the U.S. Secretary of Education withdrew the recognition of ACICS as an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. However, the Secretary of Education has deemed our schools that are accredited by ACICS to hold recognized accreditation and are still licensed by the states in which they operate. We will continue to enroll new students in all of our career training programs.
