Programs - Education

Education majors prepare you for a long career in the education field. Whether that means teaching, being a school administrator, or even a research professional, education degrees provide the pathway to open new pathways for others. The majority of education majors seek a four-year, baccalaureate degree, which will prepare them to enter a K-12 classroom, or prep them for further education. A typical education degree will allow you to concentrate in one or more of the following: early childhood, middle childhood, adolescent, multi-age or special educational needs. You will take courses in how to teach curriculum, how to manage a classroom, technology in education, psychology assessment, and more. As an educator, you have the opportunity to help shape the life of someone. Achieving a degree in education allows for a lifetime of teaching others how to be successful.
